Manufacturing Engineer - Aerospace
Belfast | £38,000 - £42,000 | Permanent | Monday - Friday (Day Shift)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established engineering company at their state-of-the-art facility in Belfast. This role offers the chance to work on advanced manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, quality, and innovation within a fast-paced production environment.
The Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
* Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to ensure high quality and efficiency.
* Design and specify tooling, fixtures, and new methods to support production.
* Drive process improvements, introducing technical innovation and best practices.
* Support new product introduction, ensuring smooth transitions into manufacturing.
* Manage change control processes, BOMs, and technical documentation.
* Provide technical support to production, supply chain, quality, and CI teams.
* Contribute to operator training on new processes and technologies.
* Liaise with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure delivery of high standards.
About You
* HNC/D or higher in Mechanical Engineering (Degree desirable).
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
* Strong background in at least one of the following: anodising, bonding, painting, assembly, or automated spray processes.
* Confident in problem-solving tools (e.g. 3Cs, 8Ds) and process improvement techniques.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
* CAD and ERP system experience desirable.
* Aerospace or regulated industry background would be an advantage.

* Salary £38,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience).
