Our client, a reputable and expanding commercial vehicle business, is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician to support fleet customers across Nottinghamshire.
The role of Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician offers an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV or LCV technicians to work independently, delivering maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, and repairs at client sites.
This position is based from either Nottingham or Mansfield and provides long‑term career prospects, ongoing manufacturer training, and a supportive working environment.

Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles
- Diagnose and rectify faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Attend customer sites and depots to support fleet maintenance requirements
- Perform inspections and vehicle health checks
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet customers
- Manage van stock, tools, and equipment effectively
- Complete all relevant documentation accurately
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or LCV Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage workloads
- Knowledge of servicing, inspections, and repairs on commercial vehicles
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, IMI, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience in a mobile technician role is advantageous but not essential
