Position: Principal Test Engineer

About the role:
An exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturing team as a Principal Test Engineer, focusing on shaping production testing for future systems and sub-systems.
Working in a New Product Introduction (NPI) environment, you'll define test requirements, lead test readiness activities during prototype and development phases, and ensure timely delivery of capabilities. This hands-on role requires collaboration across design and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define and maintain test requirements for electrical/electronic systems.
2. Support production test readiness and prototype testing.
3. Develop process flows and test architecture with project teams.
4. Create and manage Manufacturing Test Requirement Specifications (MTRS).
5. Contribute to Process FMEAs and test mitigations.
6. Collaborate with design and test equipment teams to develop test solutions.
7. Lead Production Readiness and Industrialisation Reviews.
8. Estimate testing efforts and support production cost validation.
9. Maintain test documentation and validation plans.
Requirements:
* Experience in digital and analogue electronics testing in manufacturing.
* Understanding of electrical/electronic test principles and equipment.
* Experience in test strategies, processes, and validation documentation.
* Desirable: RF technology and systems-level testing experience.
* Beneficial: Experience in NPI and production test readiness.
