This position will require an experienced S&OP/S&OE leader able to facilitate and drive results in a fast paced and demanding growth environment, leveraging his/her strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
This role will be challenged to build and implement a world class Aftermarket Sales and Operations Planning process (from opportunity to service closure) across the enterprise to improve customer satisfaction, profitability, inventory turns, lead times and working capital.
This will and should be supported by sound data, digital technology to support sound decision making and transparent communication.
The core functions of the position include strategic and tactical decision-making related to balancing demand and supply; aligns volume and mix with capacity and capability; and integrates financial and operating plans within strategic objectives to deliver improved operating and financial results.
As a, you will be responsible for:
1. Managing the aggregation of the demand plan process across aftermarket product categories and, producing bath a short term (S&OE) and a rolling 12-18 (S&OP) month estimate of unconstrained future demand in units.
2. Conducting rough cut capacity and scenario planning to be able to validate and present data and analytics to facilitate decision making.
3. Supporting the development, monitor and revise production and sourcing plans, in the short and long term, to optimise the use of manpower, equipment and financial resources while meeting the needs of customers.
4. Preparing data and material for monthly S&OP/S&OE meetings that will facilitate decisions around equipment, labour and all other resources needed to support demand over the short and long term planning horizons.
5. Assisting in the documentation of assumptions incorporated in the demand and supply plan and validate past assumptions.
6. Coordinating and facilitating the monthly S&OP meetings to achieve the demand plan consensus including strategic, product, sales, and marketing activities as well as supply plan balance and constraints/gaps.
7. Coordinating and facilitating the weekly S&OE meetings to achieve the demand plan consensus including strategic, product, sales, and marketing activities as well as supply plan balance and constraints/gaps.
8. Achieving the customer service order fulfilment objectives of >95% OTD.
9. Developing support metrics, tools and reporting that will enable the services team and procurement teams to achieve these service level and inventory targets.
10. Working closely with Sales and Product Development on planning/executing the activation and ramp-up for new products/service offerings as well planning/managing other product-life-cycle phases (new product to end of life).
11. Evaluating inventory reports to identify slow moving and obsolete inventories and collaborate with the sales team to develop disposition plans or sales initiatives.
12. Tracking performance metrics and analysis to identify both opportunities and potential issues within S&OP/ S&OE processes and reporting as well as those across departments; provide insights and recommendations to help improve results, be the challenging voice.
13. Working closely with Sales, Tendering, Procurement and Services Operations to evaluate the demand/production plan against inventory, capacity and external factors and to create mitigation actions if needed, challenge the teams thoughts.
14. Identifying significant business risks and escalate to the appropriate leadership teams.
15. Ensuring efficient communication across functional teams for any trends, drivers, and takeaways in a clear and concise manner.
16. Supporting the link between New Build to Aftermarket opportunities.

To be successful in this role you will:
17. Be degree qualified in either Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
18. Have very good Planning experience in a manufacturing environment .
19. Have knowledge of Business Operations .
20. Have knowledge of Aftermarket Sales.
21. Have experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment, demonstrated ability to be flexible, self-motivated and show high levels of initiative.
22. Have the ability to meet tight deadlines whilst multitasking multiple projects.
23. Have the ability to work both independently and on their own initiative.
24. Have attention to details.
25. Be able to fluently speak and write in English. Additional language is a plus.
26. Be fully competent in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
27. Be available to travel as required.
