What you'll do
Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll provide accurate finance and admin support to a business with around £5m in turnover. You'll take ownership of key financial processes and shape them with your ideas.
Your day-to-day will include:
Handling purchase and sales ledger transactions, including credit control
Carrying out bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations, including journals for accruals, prepayments and depreciation
Managing fixed assets
Overseeing month-end and year-end close activities
Completing quarterly VAT returns
Covering weekly/monthly payroll processing when needed
What you'll need
AAT qualified or equivalent experience.
Solid experience in preparing accounts to Trial Balance; beyond this is a bonus.
Strong experience with Sage 50 Accounts and Payroll, or similar
Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
