About The School: This school, established in April 2023, is dedicated to offering tailored support for students with various Special Educational Needs. With a capacity for 50 students, they prioritise a holistic educational approach, emphasising not only academic advancement but also social skills, personal development, and readiness for future endeavours. Position: SEN Teacher Location: Wilmslow, Cheshire Contract Type: Full-time Hours: 40 hours per week Salary: Paid according to scale Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective teaching to cater to the diverse needs of students, fostering progress academically, socially, and emotionally. Design and implement a dynamic curriculum that includes life skills development and preparation for qualifications. Provide mentorship and guidance to Teaching Assistants, fostering their professional development and teamwork. Uphold school policies, with a strong focus on safeguarding and equal opportunities for all students. Monitor and address students' health, well-being, and personal care needs, collaborating closely with support teams as necessary.
