Overview
Industrial Placement - Electrical Engineer (Bristol) at Stantec. This opportunity is for students studying an Electrical Engineering degree with a passion for the built environment to gain exposure to complex project work and receive support from Chartered Engineers. You will join as an Industrial Placement student in 2026, delivering sustainable projects for communities, the planet, and society.
Your Role
* Electrical services design and calculations using the latest computer modelling software Dialux, Relux and Electrical OM
* Work with supervisors on scheme design concepts
* Use Revit and 3D BIM modelling software in design production; design co-ordination with other professional disciplines
* Input into or development of energy and sustainability strategy
* Participate in design team and client meetings
* Attend site visits

Please note, we ask our placement students to come into the office a minimum of 4 days per week, to ensure that colleagues are able to provide the appropriate level of support.
