Job Description
Role Overview:
* Managing a caseload of pre-action and litigious medico-legal matters on behalf of our medical experts and our clients.
* Ensuring that all of our experts are aware of key dates including Court timetabled dates and Court listed hearing dates.
* Corresponding with clients via email and telephone.
* Uploading new instructions on to our bespoke file sharing platform.
* Indexing, paginating and extracting relevant documents/medical records for experts to review.
* Adhering to data protection regulations and laws at all times.
* Completing additional ad hoc tasks when requested.
Person Specification
* Must have an understanding of both the civil and criminal legal justice systems; experience in a clinical negligence role ideal.
* Ability to work independently.
* IT literate: Excellent knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems (training will be given as necessary for all company bespoke systems).
* Must have an eye for detail.
* Experience of speaking to clients over the phone and corresponding by email.
* Driven and self-motivated.
* Being able to work to sometimes tight deadlines.
