Job Description: SHE Manager at Ecolab
Ecolab Bioprocessing & Purification Technologies, a global leader in resin-based separation, purification, and extraction technology, is seeking a SHE Manager at our manufacturing site in Llantrisant, Wales.
We produce products vital to the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors, supporting safe manufacturing worldwide. The Safety, Health & Environmental (SH&E) Manager will ensure a high level of occupational health and safety within the organization, fostering a strong SHE culture through leading programs and activities aimed at continuous improvement.
The SHE Manager reports to the Plant Operations Director and collaborates with the Regional SHE team, focusing on promoting safety awareness and responsible practices among site associates.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute Emergency Response Plans, including drills and corrective actions.
* Support risk assessments and prepare reports for senior leadership.
* Lead accident investigations, root cause analysis, and track corrective measures.
* Chair safety champion meetings and develop safety programs.
* Coordinate with R&D for future SHE improvements.
* Manage internal audits and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance.
* Conduct compliance inspections and oversee safety programs, including reporting, incident investigation, training, and PPE management.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the chemical industry.
* NEBOSH Diploma or working towards it.
* In-depth knowledge of SHE legislation.
* Strong IT, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
* Experience with ISO certification and SHE audit programs.
Preferred Experience
* Knowledge of COMAH and DSEAR regulations.
* Degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Safety.
