Role overview
You will be responsible for delivering well-structured, engaging lessons, supporting students' academic progression, and fostering a learning environment where ambition and achievement thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across A-Level, BTEC, or vocational Business Studies courses.
* Monitor and assess student progress through coursework, assignments, and examinations.
* Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
* Support students with academic and career guidance.
* Ensure high standards of teaching and learning in line with college expectations.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and behaviour.
Job Requirements:
* A degree or equivalent in Business Studies or a related field.
* Prior experience teaching Business Studies at post-16 or FE level.
* Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current business trends and practices.
* Ability to teach both practical and theoretical content clearly and effectively.
* A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education).
