Location: Horsforth, Leeds Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (occasional early starts for site deliveries) Start: Immediate start required We’re recruiting a Driver and Warehouse Operative to join a growing business in Horsforth, Leeds. This role combines warehouse responsibilities with regular driving and site deliveries, so applicants must be comfortable splitting their time between working in the warehouse and driving company vans to deliver materials to local project sites. This position is ideal for someone who has worked as a Warehouse Operative and carried out deliveries as part of their role. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Duties * Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely * Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient storage area * Check deliveries against paperwork and report discrepancies * Carry out stock checks and report shortages or damage * Ensure materials and equipment are stored securely Driving & Deliveries (Core Part of Role) * Drive company vans to deliver materials and equipment to sites across Yorkshire * Plan routes and ensure deliveries arrive on time * Assist with unloading, positioning equipment, and collections * Support site set-ups and site clear-downs * Carry out basic vehicle and equipment checks General * Follow health & safety procedures at all times * Communicate clearly with colleagues regarding delivery schedules * Support wider operations when required About You — Essential * Experience working as a Warehouse Operative (or similar logistics role) * Experience completing deliveries as part of a job * Full UK driving licence (essential) * Comfortable driving vans for work * Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling * Reliable, organised, and able to work independently * Flexible for occasional early starts Desirable * FLT licence * Experience delivering to construction or project sites The Offer * Salary £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience * Permanent, full-time position * Monday to Friday working pattern * Varied role combining driving and warehouse work * Supportive and friendly working environment * Immediate start available If you have warehouse experience and are happy driving as part of your role, we’d like to hear from you.
