Assured Skills Electrical Switchgear Academy with VERTIV
Successful applicants to the Academy will undertake an eight-week training course for work in the electrical switchgear sector. Applicants must be available for the entire duration of the training period. Successful participants work towards a Level 2 entry level qualification in Electrical Installation (EAL) and are guaranteed a job interview for a permanent operative role with VERTIV. Skills and Qualifications
* You must be at least 18 years old on Monday 6 October 2025 and have a right to work and to undertake Assured Skills Training in the UK at the point of application and not be disqualified from doing either by reason of their immigration status.
Further Information
Training will include five weeks intensive training at North West Regional College and three weeks on-site training at VERTIV in Derry-Londonderry. Training starts on Monday 6 October and finishes on Friday 28 November 2025.
