Teaching Assistant – Behaviour Support (SEMH / SEND) (Full-Time, September Start)

Do you have experience supporting young people with behavioural needs and the resilience to work in a challenging but rewarding environment?

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support students with SEMH, ADHD, Autism, and trauma backgrounds. This role requires confidence, consistency, and a strong understanding of behaviour management.

Responsibilities include:

* Supporting the implementation of behaviour support plans

* Managing and de-escalating challenging situations effectively

* Encouraging students to engage positively with learning

* Supporting the development of social and emotional skills

Essential requirements:

* Previous experience working with young people who have SEMH/SEND. This can be in a care, youth work or school setting.

* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

* Ability to remain calm under pressure

* Confident, consistent, and professional approach

Full-time | September start

This is a demanding but extremely rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
