Job Title: Electrician
Location: Site-based across Bristol and Somerset
Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week, plus participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota
Position Type: Permanent
We are seeking a qualified and customer-focused Electrician to join our clients responsive repairs team working within tenanted social housing properties. This is a field-based role where no two days are the same, offering you the opportunity to work independently while being part of a supportive and experienced team.
Our central scheduling team will coordinate your workload to optimise travel and ensure you can deliver a high standard of service to tenants.

Key Responsibilities:
7. Carry out fault-finding and responsive repairs in tenanted social housing properties
8. Tasks include, but are not limited to, MCB/circuit breaker repairs, general electrical repairs, switch replacements, re-certification, and issuing certification for completed works
9. Use of handheld devices to receive and manage daily job tickets
10. Take ownership of your daily schedule and deliver work efficiently and independently
11. Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times, respecting the fact you are working in occupied homes
Required Qualifications and Skills:
12. City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent qualification in testing and inspection
13. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (knowledge of Amendment 2 preferred)
14. Full UK driving licence is essential due to the mobile nature of the role
15. Successful candidates must be willing to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
