What’s involved?
As the Sous Chef, you will provide guidance to a team of chefs and lead the team in the Head Chef’s absence. You should be passionate about using fresh, locally sourced produce where possible, and building strong relationships with suppliers.
The successful Sous Chef will have experience in creating mouthwatering dishes using fresh ingredients and will be able to bring some of their dishes to life on the menus. You can expect to cater for an average of 50 covers at breakfast, offered as a plated service, and 50/60 covers at lunchtime. Dinner covers vary.
You will monitor portion sizes and waste control to maintain profit margins while ensuring high standards of food hygiene and health and safety at all times.
