Our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Aerospace sector. They manufacture precision engineered parts and are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join their growing organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience setting and operating CNC milling machines (at least 3 Axis) and will possess a ‘can do’ attitude. * Set and operate CNC Milling machines.
* Read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine set up and operation.
* Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.
* Complete machining operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels.
* Understand all set up parameters and the effect that they have on the process, for example, datum setting and tool length and wear offsets.
* Use and control of CNC programs in accordance with relevant procedures.
* Use of all measuring equipment as defined within Inspection Plans to check conformance to requirements.
CNC MillerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
* Experience setting and operating CNC Milling machines (at least 3 axis)
* Well-versed machining high precision metal components for a highly regulated industry
