An experienced Project Manager with proven expertise in structural steel, steel structures, or structural engineering is required to join a reputable, growing structural company involved in various projects, including structural buildings, cladding, rail, construction, MOD, utilities, and nuclear sectors.
The Project Manager will oversee multiple complex projects from initiation to completion, guiding projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning to delivery. If you excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can maintain focus under pressure, you may be the ideal candidate.
As a key team member, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and time management skills, along with a keen eye for detail.
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000, dependent on experience
Office-based, Monday to Friday
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in structural steel, steel structures, or structural engineering
* Relevant project management experience across all project phases
* Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of project management methodologies (APM or PMI preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
* Participate in project planning to set goals, timelines, tasks, and resource allocation
* Manage internal and external teams and subcontractors
* Monitor project progress, address issues, and ensure timely delivery
* Utilize tracking tools for project coordination
* Follow industry-standard project management practices
* Manage budgets and ensure compliance with procurement processes
