The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive manufacturer based in South Birmingham. This is an exciting temporary to permanent opportunity for an experienced Paint Technician to join a dynamic and growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform painting activities in line with IATF 16949 quality standards.
* Inspect all parts before painting to ensure they are fit for purpose.
* Clean, maintain, and adjust paint robots and application equipment.
* Apply primers, basecoats and clearcoats to required quality standards
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce costs.
✅ What We're Looking For:
* 3-5 years' robotic painting experience (preferably within paint manufacturing or automotive).
* Strong understanding of paint application processes, defect identification, and corrective actions.
* Knowledge of production downtime escalation and quality standards.
Pay Rate:
* £15.50 per hour
⏰ Hours of Work:
* 22:00 - 06:00
* Sunday - Thursday
