We recently lost one of our guinea pigs tragically, milo has lost a bit of his appitite i think, so if he doesn't want to eat much, just encourage him with a carrot or some romaine lettuce. Feeding: I usually put a few leaves of safe lettuce/dark greens including, romaine, gem, brocoli, coriander or spring greens (these are the ones they are use to just to prevent any tummy upset from a change in diet) maybe some pieces of bell pepper and occasionally carrots. (Milo loves strawberries and spirit loves banana). I make sure they have access to fresh hay 24/7. About them: Spirit loves cuddles, but can be a bit shy if he doesn't know you. Milo is quite a confident guinea pig but only tolerates you petting his nose. They might still be finding whos who in the "guinea pig ranking" (dominance) since our piggie that passed had quite a high place, and spirit was at the bottom. This is normal though. They are both boars (males). Spirit is a black abyssinian And milo is a ginger brown and white american crested. They are not on any medication, but milo sometimes makes a hooting sound just keep an eye out for that. I took him to the vets and they said he could just have sensitive airways so try keep him away from any air fresheners/strong scents and try spot clean at least once daily Any more questions just reach out!
