Position Overview
An opportunity has arisen within our team for an enthusiastic and highly motivated pharmacist with excellent communication skills to provide high quality Mental Health clinical pharmacy services. Key Details
* Fixed term: 12 months (Maternity cover)
* Band 7 post – requires at least 2 years post- registration experience, completion of a clinical pharmacy postgraduate study and well-developed clinical pharmacy skills.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver specialist mental health clinical pharmacy services as part of the CWP pharmacy team.
* Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that pharmaceutical care needs of patients are met.
* Uphold medicines management standards across the trust.
* Provide education on the safe and effective use of medication to medical and nursing staff, patients and carers.
* Supply professional support and supervision to pre-registration and student pharmacists.

Training and Induction
All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date. P2C offers up to three weeks of training to support you in meeting the induction and initial training requirements of the role.

Additional Considerations
* Applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. A small annual fee of £16 per year applies.
