We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Nurse to join ourPrimary Care and Mental Health teamat HMP Present, a category B Prison located in Preston.
HMP Preston is a remand male prison age from 18 + and a capacity of 680.
The Night Nurse will be based in the healthcare department working in the inpatient unit covering within physical health and mental health.
Interview are being held on Thursday 4th December
Hours:
* Monday - Sunday - 37.5 hours per week
* 8.15pm - 7.45am - Nights Only
* 7 nights on - 7 nights on
Salary:
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary between £34,428 - £41,659 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As a Night Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
* Within a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions.
* Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.
* Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Contribute to our nursing strategy and vision to; Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
* Deliver non‑judgemental care that makes a real difference, as defined throughout our bespoke Health in Justice competency framework

* Registered nurse – Adult
* Current professional qualification (NMC)
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
