About The Role
We’re looking for a driven and ambitious PR Account Executive that wants to join an award-winning, top UK network agency. This is pivotal role within our Scotland team and you’ll be based in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow team, depending on your location. This might your first job in industry or you may already have some experience under your belt. You’ll be responsible for delivering excellent day-to-day client work and play a key support role within the team. As well as home grown Scottish brands and businesses, we work with several international clients, so you could have the opportunity to work directly with our wider network. You’ll also be exposed to both consumer and corporate accounts, across Scotland and the UK, so it’s a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable experience! We can teach you the skills, all you need to bring is the right attitude and the drive to get stuck in and kick start your journey to success with one of the most well reputed agencies in the UK.
The day to day
The role of an Account Executive is varied, but daily tasks will involve:
* Support the delivery of multiple client campaigns simultaneously across key accounts
* Own administrative tasks such as timelines, WIP trackers, cost trackers, and meeting notes
* Schedule and coordinate meetings, including room bookings and refreshments
* Conduct research for current clients and new business opportunities
* Monitor media coverage, client and industry news, and share relevant updates
* Use tools like Talkwalker, Onclusive, and Roxhill for media and stakeholder research
* Draft research summaries, reports, and analysis to inform client work
* Stay informed on current affairs and trends relevant to client sectors
* Build and manage media, influencer, and stakeholder lists
* Help identify and engage key media, and influencer contacts
* Pitch stories to media, handle basic journalist enquiries, and secure earned coverage
* Draft and edit clear, accurate written materials including press releases, newsletters, social content, and media pitches
* Participate in brainstorms and support the development of creative and strategic recommendations
* Help prepare for client presentations, pitches, and events
* Support new business activity through research, proofing, and logistics

* Clear communication skills, both written and verbal – with the ability to adapt your tone to suit the audience
* Detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to juggle multiple tasks at once
* Strong initiative and not afraid to ask questions or contribute ideas
* Possess a collaborative mindset and enjoy working as part of a team
* A genuine interest in media, current affairs, and digital trends
* Experience using PR and media tools (such as Talkwalker, Onclusive, Roxhill) is a plus, but not essential as training will be provided
