Part of a nationwide family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, we are seeking a Housekeeper. The purpose of this position is to provide campus services in cleaning and minor maintenance to meet the needs of residents and employees, ensuring facilities are in good condition.
In this role, the Housekeeper will:
* Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules, standards, and infection control guidelines.
* Complete minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, plunging toilets, and replacing batteries.
* Perform cleaning tasks inside and outside, including sweeping, mopping, waxing, vacuuming, and buffing.
* Assist in cleaning emergency spills and perform project cleaning (walls, vents, windows, etc.).
* Remove trash and recyclables, replace liners, and transport waste to disposal areas.
* Deep clean rooms during transfers/discharges per standards.
* Move furniture and assist with resident moves as needed.
* Participate in the campus linen program and bed-making in guest rooms or residences.
* Maintain cleaning equipment and report repairs.
* Report facility, furniture, or fixture repairs needed.
* Assist with receiving supplies and campus snow/ice salting.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Some high school education.
* Experience in housekeeping and/or general maintenance.
* Effective communication skills in English, verbal and written.
* Dependability, organization skills, and ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
* An interest in working with older adults is preferred.
* Weekend availability may be required.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $ - $ (based on qualifications, experience, location, and other factors)
