Section EngineerDevonport, Southwest England12 month contract (inside IR35)We're recruiting for a Section Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Devonport. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role on a complex, high-profile scheme within a collaborative delivery environment.The RoleYou will take ownership of a section of works, ensuring construction is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. Working in a client-facing capacity, you'll coordinate site teams and subcontractors while supporting overall project performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee site activities, subcontractors, and daily coordination of worksEnsure compliance with health & safety, RAMS, and site proceduresReview technical drawings and documentation, raising RFIs/TQs/NCRs as requiredManage risks and support planning/programming of worksEngage with stakeholders and contribute to reporting and project deliveryAbout YouMinimum 2+ years' experience in a site-based engineering roleStrong understanding of construction methods and project environmentsConfident communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders and teamsIT proficient (MS Office; planning/document systems)Qualifications:Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)CSCS card (essential)SMSTS/IOSH, BIM or planning software experience (desirable)Interested?Apply now or get in touch to learn more about this opportunity and how it could be the next step in your careerThis vacancy is being advertised by BelcanTPBN1_UKTJ
