We’re currently recruiting for a Production Manager (Micro), site based 5 days per week, in Bedlington to join our Operations team.

In this role you will demonstrate a passion for Operational Excellence which includes an attention to detail that will enable us to succeed through the design, implementation and embedding of processes, procedures and behaviour development that adds value to our Customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead, develop, and motivate our manufacturing approach and people, machinery budgets and operational performance to ensure consistent delivery
2. Act as an instrumental figure in the creation and delivery of KPIs and technological practices and processes that deliver competitive advantage through positive engagement strategies
3. Manage and control financial costs in line with budgets.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Core Requirements

4. Previous and relevant Manufacturing, Production, Operational or Leadership experience
5. Evidence of delivering effective operational team management
6. An understanding of operational target and budget setting and the development of plans
7. A clear understanding of how a manufacturing process should be configured to ensure stable and effective outputs
8. Demonstrated ability to implement lean improvements in a structured way to continually improve the manufacturing performance
9. Ability to work effectively within a dynamic environment
10. Ability to identify and implement new technologies to add value to the existing processes
11. Experience of delivering significant budgets, KPIs and shifts
12. Degree/ HND or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline

Desirable Skills and Experience

13. Previous experience of leading in electronics manufacturing
14. Experience in Lean Sigma to Black Belt
15. Understanding & experience of Automotive, Aerospace & Medical standards
16. Experience in using SAP

Our Recruitment Process:

Due to the specific projects TT Electronics supports we are unable to sponsor work visas. Candidates will be required to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard Clearance.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre and during employment drug and alcohol testing.
