Job Description:
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Enfield area. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver (CAT C+E) to join the team on nights.
Job Type : Long term ongoing role.
The role:
* Operating Class 1 vehicles to move trailers within the yard.
* Manoeuvring trailers in tight spaces with accuracy.
* Ensuring the safe transportation of trailers according to company standards.
* Available for Monday to Friday shifts starting at 11pm, finishing Tuesday morning, and 11pm Friday, finishing Saturday morning.
* Willingness to occasionally stay late for tipping trailers.
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
* Have at least 1 year of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
* Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
* Reliability is a key requirement for this position.
* Full understanding of WTD legislation.
* Discounts at hundreds of high-street stores and supermarkets.
