Overview
Start date in summer 2026, full time, fixed term for 12 months, fully site-based at Humber Gateway. This is a Year in Industry placement with RWE Offshore Wind, offering insight into the offshore wind sector and opportunities to work with a diverse, global team focused on Operations Engineering within Offshore Operations.
Responsibilities
* Gain valuable knowledge and experience of:
o operational challenges faced on a mid-life project
o Project Management from planning to execution
o the importance of workplace culture and teamwork
o working in a practical operational environment on a self-perform operated site
* Assist the team with:
o statutory or year-on-year routine campaigns
o end of life / life extensions studies
o major component exchange
o managing the day-to-day tasks of an offshore wind farm
Qualifications / Requirements
* Enrolled student in one of the following degree courses: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement
* Very good verbal and written communication skills
* Able to coordinate your own workload and to meet tight deadlines
* Comfortable working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders
* Willing to travel to other sites if needed. Travel expenses will be covered
