NHS Western Isles (NHSWI) is seeking an enthusiastic, resourceful, and dedicated Senior Pharmacy Assistant to support the Primary Care Pharmacy team. The role involves assisting in delivering pharmaceutical care to patients through a safe and efficient pharmacotherapy service.
The successful candidate will support the Lead Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacists by delivering technical aspects of primary care pharmacy services across nine practices within the archipelago, serving approximately 27,000 patients.
Requirements include previous pharmacy experience, NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services Skills or equivalent GPhC accredited course, good literacy and numeracy skills, effective communication, teamwork, and basic IT skills. The role requires a conscientious, methodical individual capable of working accurately, sometimes independently.
