HR Advisor Location: Hereford (on-site, full-time) Salary: £33,415 Benefits: Bonus, 25 days leaveBH's, Discounts plus more About the Role We are seeking a proactive and professional HR Advisor to join our team. This is a dynamic opportunity to provide expert support and advice across a range of HR activities while contributing to the development and implementation of key HR policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Lead recruitment and selection processes, including advertising, attending job fairs, and conducting interviews Provide sound HR advice to departmental teams Manage employee lifecycle tasks such as onboarding, changes to contracts, and leaver processes Advise on and manage disciplinary and grievance matters Monitor and manage staff absence Support employee engagement initiatives, including the annual staff survey Oversee staff inductions and ensure compliance with legal requirements (e.g., right to work, young worker protection) Maintain and update job descriptions and manage company benefits Assist with training and development programmes Ensure compliance with maternity, paternity, and parental leave procedures Attend internal and external meetings, training, and represent the HR department as needed Promote and adhere to Health & Safety, data protection, and company policies What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a generalist HR role Part CIPD qualified (or working towards) Up-to-date knowledge of employment law Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Assertive, diplomatic, and proactive approach to problem-solving Our Values We value integrity, teamwork, accountability, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
