Job Title: Business Development Executive
Salary: £27k – £30k basic dependent on experience (Year 1 OTE £45K-£55k uncapped)
We're currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive for our BlackBook Motorsport arm. We're seeking a driven, enthusiastic professional to drive new business, selling across our events, memberships and media portfolio to key stakeholders in the motorsports industry.

The Role:
As a Business Development Executive, your primary objective is to maximise revenue through new business acquisition, leveraging our industry-leading audience and market position.
Fundamentally, this job is utilising the exclusivity and credibility of the membership to drive new members and maintain the strongest possible relationships with them to ensure they maximise their time with us. It’s also about solving problems and creating opportunities for companies who should be partnering with our events and media channels.
Requirements:
· Demonstrable success in a 360 sales process
· Demonstrable track record of inner-drive, hunger, and motivation to exceed activity and revenue targets.
· Proven success in significant new business wins in B2B sales
· Ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
· Exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a target-oriented environment.
· Strong presentation and proposal writing abilities and excellent telephone manner.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
· Knowledge or strong interest in the motorsport industry is desirable.
Responsibilities:
· Utilise your end-to-end sales experience to maximise revenue through effective sales techniques, both over the phone and face-to-face.
· Exceed activity targets (calls, emails, meetings) demonstrating drive and discipline in prospecting and engaging with clients.
· Independently research leads using online search facilities, social media, and competitor insights.
· Exceed agreed KPIs and revenue targets to drive the team's growth.
· Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and effectively negotiate terms with clients and agencies.
· Ensure meticulous sales administration, updating the HubSpot database promptly and accurately.
