Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an admin officer based in Enniskillen. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI clearance have been completed.
Duration: 6 months with a possibility of extension
Rate of pay: £12.97
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9-5 (37 hours)
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing customer service in a telephony or customer-facing environment to a diverse range of customers both internal and external.
* Assisting the PTO Park Warden, HTG Assistant Warden, and ScO Scientific Officer in managing the Country Park, Countryside Centre, WWII Exhibition, and Nature Reserves.
* Performing administrative duties such as maintaining records, ordering goods and services, and processing invoices in accordance with Departmental and AccountNI procedures.
* Weekly entry of industrial hours into HRConnect.
* Reconciling fuel logs and mileage sheets monthly and saving records on Content Manager.
* Providing general administrative support, including ordering stationery, organizing meetings, and taking minutes.
* Handling and communicating data in line with departmental policies.
Essential Criteria:
* Experience in customer service or administrative roles with a helpful and cordial approach.
* Possession of a full (manual) driving license and access to transport.
* An interest in the countryside, with knowledge of local human and natural history.
* Holding a valid 1-day emergency First Aid Certificate for the duration of the contract.
Qualifications:
* Proof of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above, or equivalent.
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proven ability to use own initiative.
* Previous demonstrable experience in an administrative support role.
