Civil Resident Setting Out Engineer required for our client, a leading provider of electrical transmission and renewable infrastructure.
They are seeking an experienced engineer to join their Transmission & Renewables team, delivering substation projects across Wales and the South West. This role is site-based and involves working on high-voltage projects (up to 400kV) for major clients.
The successful candidate will support the Civil Site Manager and Project Managers on site, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of works.

Civil Resident Setting Out Engineer Duties
* Set out civil works including RC foundations, drainage, ducting, earthworks, roads, and fencing
* Support Site and Project Managers to achieve build milestones
* Assist with Temporary Works coordination and support TWC/TWS
* Prepare inspection plans, H&S files and handover documentation
* Resolve on-site design and technical issues (TQs/RFIs)
* Manage as-built drawings and ensure timely submission to client
* Attend design meetings and contribute to project planning
* Support tendering and pre-construction phases
Civil Resident Setting Out Engineer Requirements
* 3+ years’ experience in setting out or surveying
* Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Experience in electrical transmission/distribution (desirable)
* CSCS card
* Familiar with NG Transmission Procedures and BS5975 Temporary Works
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software
