What you’ll be doing… As a Supervisor in a hospital setting, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of catering or hospitality services for patients, staff, and visitors. Supervise daily operations within your designated service area Ensure high standards of service delivery, cleanliness, and food hygiene are consistently maintained Lead and support team members with training, task delegation, and shift coordination Ensure compliance with NHS policies, infection prevention controls, and food safety procedures Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and escalate issues where needed Handle customer and patient queries in a professional and compassionate manner Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory checks as required Work closely with hospital and contractor teams to ensure service excellence and continuous improvement Working pattern: 5 days out of 7 | 30 hours per week Job ID: 3375 Salary: £19,943.55 (£12.75 per hour) What can you bring? Previous supervisory experience in catering, hospitality, or facilities management Experience in a healthcare or NHS setting is desirable but not essential Good working knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards (Level 2 Food Safety required) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate a team and lead by example Organised and proactive, with a commitment to delivering great service Compassionate and respectful, especially when working in patient-facing environments
