Key responsibilities of the Band 6 Speech & Language Therapist: Deliver detailed assessments for adults with communication, swallowing, and cognitive challenges Provide evidence-based neurorehabilitation therapy via individual and group sessions Play an essential role in stroke recovery and long-term rehabilitation pathways Design and implement SLT programmes under senior mentorship Educate clients, families, and staff on communication strategies and dysphagia management
About you: Degree or diploma in Speech & Language Therapy with HCPC registration Membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy (RCSLT) A passion for neurorehabilitation, communication therapy, and working with complex conditions Previous experience as a
Speech Therapist, Dysphagia Specialist, Neurorehabilitation Therapist, or Communication Specialist
is desirable
