About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire young minds and contribute to our continued success in delivering exceptional education.
Day to day supply, or regular days, also temp to perm opportunities
Monday-Friday 5 days a week 8.30-8.30pm
Person specification:
1. Have experience of different classes and age groups, secondary SEN
2. Experience of supporting children and young people struggle to manage their emotions, behaviour, and relationships, which can impact their learning and overall well-being Be able to get to know pupils and get a good understanding of needs.
3. Excellent communication skills, Empathetic and Patient, being self-regulated and calm. With a positive supportive attitude.
4. Knowledge of SEMH Understanding of SEMH issues, strategies, and interventions.
5. Be able to interact well with pupils and staff and able to work well as a team.
6. Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
Key Responsibilities
7. Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3-5
8. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
9. Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
10. Support students’ personal and academic development
11. Participate in whole-school activities and events
12. Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour
13. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school
Essential Requirements
14. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
15. Proven experience teaching at secondary level
16. Excellent classroom management and communication skills
17. Commitment to high educational standards and student achievement
18. Ability to differentiate learning for students of all abilities
