On Call payments for weekdays and weekends, Roche Home Care is expanding, and we're looking for a dedicated Senior Care/Care Support Worker to join our friendly and compassionate team. We provide high-quality care and support services to our tenants, and we're searching for someone who shares our values and commitment to excellence.
Main Purpose of the Role
* Deliver a consistently high standard of care while leading and supporting the care team.
* Provide home support services that promote dignity, independence, and individuality.
* Conduct medication and documentation audits.
* Carry out spot checks, inductions, supervisions, and risk assessments.
* Support office staff when required.
* Ensure the needs of older people are met with professionalism and empathy.
* Participate in care planning and be willing to undertake medication administration training if needed.
* Demonstrate commitment to personal development, training and continuous learning.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (preference, but willing to train the right person).
* Experience working in a care home setting.
* Strong understanding of the needs of older people.
