Facilities Assistants, 15-hour Post & 12-hour Post
Based at Dunbar Hospital, Thurso, Caithness Hospital
We are currently seeking to recruit Facilities Assistants to join our team in Dunbar Hospital, Thurso. These posts will be based in Dunbar Hospital, Thurso. The successful applicant’s role will be to provide services to Catering, Laundry, and Domestic services.
The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained in line with local infection control policies, Covid-19 guidance, NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification, and Waste Regulations.
To meet specified cleaning schedules and promote and maintain high standards of cleanliness within the environment.
Catering duties include meal regeneration and preparation of salads, sandwiches, and snacks if required for the role.
To meet specified Laundry Services standards according to NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specifications.
These posts are to cover a 7-day rota, hours worked over 5 days, which may include weekends. Other shift patterns may be needed at times to cover staff absence and annual leave. We offer a comprehensive induction and training package.
