The Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Customer Service Representative to join our team. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, handling queries across email and phone, managing returns and warranty claims, and supporting website updates. This is a varied role where attention to detail, communication skills, and a customer-first attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer queries via email and phone in a professional, friendly, and timely manner
* Provide accurate product information, advice, and support (cycle parts knowledge is highly beneficial, but not necessary as you will be trained)
* Manage returns, exchanges, and warranty claims, ensuring smooth and fair resolutions
* Assist with website amendments such as updating product information, images, and categories
* Log and track customer interactions to ensure consistent follow-up and resolution
* Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently
* Maintain a strong understanding of processes, policies, and product range
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a customer service role (retail, e-commerce, or call centre)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Confident phone manner with the ability to resolve queries under pressure
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Comfortable using email systems, phone systems, and e-commerce platforms
* Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think on your feet
* Bonus: Knowledge or passion for cycling and familiarity with cycle components
