Overview
As our Quality Engineer you will act as a key member of the Quality Assurance Team, actively supporting and enhancing day-to-day quality operations. This is a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement across products, processes, and systems, with a strong focus on reducing the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) and Defective Parts Per Million (DPPM). The Quality Engineer will champion quality excellence by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and fostering and promoting a culture of proactive quality management throughout the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Ensure inspections and customer concerns are addressed promptly to ensure satisfaction.
* Reduce CoPQ and DPPM through effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Ensure internal and external audits are completed on time, with swift closure of non-conformities.
* Be responsible for Goods-in inspections and quality investigations being conducted without delay.
* Take ownership of quality metrics, trends and documentation being reported accurately and continuously improved.
* Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
* Display a can-do attitude.
* possess experience in quality assurance within manufacturing or engineering, with strong metrology skills.
* Have experience or be certified as an Internal Auditor (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
* Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, initiative, and customer service orientation.
