Clinical Fellow in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy.
Training and Development
* Subspecialty training in Upper GI therapeutics (Barretts, RFA, EMR, GI stenting) or advanced Lower GI therapeutics (Complex colon lists, FTRD, single balloon enteroscopy, IBD).
* Opportunity to train in capsule endoscopy and participate in research/publications.
Work Environment
The rota includes other Gastroenterology and Endoscopy resident doctors/Fellows. Each post holder will have an Educational Supervisor and be provided with career advice as well as a study leave budget.
Work alongside other endoscopy fellows and a dynamic gastroenterology department consisting of 22 consultant gastroenterologists, a staff specialist, 6 registrars, IMTs and foundation doctors. The role is also open to surgical trainees who will contribute to the upper GI surgical service.
Schedule
Participation in an out-of-hours rota may be required, including evenings, weekends, and/or bank holidays, in accordance with service needs. Work outside standard hours will attract remuneration in line with the respective NHS Medical and Dental Terms and Conditions of Service.
