Job Description
This is a multi-skilled role with an electrical bias working a two-shift pattern. The role is responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment and services.
Duties
* React to breakdown situations, carry out fault finding activities and undertake the timely repair of equipment including PLC’s, electric drives, robotics, pneumatics and screwdrivers
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance activities on various plant and machinery
* Report and feedback on breakdown causes, making recommendations on countermeasures
* Support equipment commissioning and installation projects across assembly and moulding factories
* Support the manufacture process of inhouse projects
* Strict adherence to safe working practices and observation of health and safety rules at all times
Required knowledge, skills or experience
* Knowledge of PLC’s and Robots is advantageous but not essential. Relevant training will be provided where applicable
* Educated to ONC (or equivalent) in an engineering related discipline
* Completed an approved multi-skilled apprenticeship
* Basic electrical competencies are required
