Accounts Payable Assistant – Temporary (3 months, potential to extend)
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join one of our clients on a temporary basis, supporting the finance team across a range of accounting activities.
You’ll be responsible for assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes, managing expenses, and supporting finance operations across the department. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong IT literacy and an interest in developing their finance experience within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day support to the accounts team across both payable and receivable functions.
* Assist with managing employee expenses – particularly service engineers – including reviewing receipts, validating claims, and ensuring VAT compliance.
* Support the finance team with general accounting administration.
* Input and maintain data within the ERP system.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general finance administration.
* Strong IT literacy with a good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems (ERP experience desirable).
* Understanding of expense processes and VAT reclaiming.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
