As a Bank Health Care Support Worker you will be part of our valued team in Sulis ward, St Martins Hospital and John Stacey ward, Paulton Hospital.

Main Duties / Responsibilities
Your role will include delivering high-quality, person‑centred care and supporting registered practitioners to provide compassionate care.
* Carry out non‑clinical healthcare tasks under the supervision of registered healthcare practitioners
* Provide compassionate care to meet agreed quality standards and Trust values
* Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to policies and procedures
* Adapt to work across different wards as required, responding to clinical needs
* Support the acquisition of a care certificate where needed
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
* Literacy and numeracy skills demonstrated at interview assessment
* Prior experience in a healthcare or social setting
* Evidence of teamwork and collaboration
* Time‑management and prioritising skills
* Commitment to a caring approach for patients and relatives
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Accurate completion of documentation
* Awareness of healthcare policies and procedures
* IT proficiency and keyboard skills
* Adaptability and willingness to undertake appropriate training within deadlines
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts and move across wards or units
* Calm, caring patient manner and attitude
* Enthusiasm and commitment to working within the healthcare setting
* Willingness to work in other areas of the Trust or Trust‑wide as required
* Physical capability to stand for prolonged periods, move and handle patients and equipment
