Office Assistant

Salary: £14,742 per annum, plus company benefits

Location: Newport, Wales, NP10

Contract: Part Time, Permanent

Shifts: 22.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 4.5 hour shifts per day - 12:30-17:00 (We can offer some flexibility on occasions)

Work model: Fully onsite

Williams Lea seeks an Office Assistant to join our team!

Key responsibilities

* Deal with certain functions of Mail services - scanning, distributing around the office within SLA's.

* Dealing with mail electronically and assigning to fee earners.

* Dealing with all outgoing post, collecting from around the office, booking on systems.

* Deal with day to day queries from the inbox and liaise with the client.

* General maintenance of copies

* Assist with other tasks within the Office Services team.

* Ensuring that the post deadlines are kept to and SLA's met.

* General maintenance of general office equipment

* Assisting with moving and transportation of boxes around the office

* Booking Couriers, Royal Mail Track and Track

Personal attributes

* Ability to operate at all levels within the organisation

* Good communication skills

* Confident and with a professional, business-like manner

* Ability to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy and delivering against timescales

* Team player, consistently in tune with the aims and objectives of the business

* Excellent time management and Organisational skills

* Ability to carry out delegated functions/tasks/projects

* High level of confidentiality

* Able to meet deadlines and priorities tasks

* An understanding of an employer’s statutory and 'best practice’ Health & Safety requirement

* Strong administration skills and fully conversant with Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel
