Summary
We are recruiting for a client of ours for a Registered Manager. The suitable candidate will be a Registered Manager in their supported accommodation for young people aged 16-17 years old. This is an excellent opportunity and is open to those at different stages within their career and expertise.
The advertised salary is between 32-35k
* (32k) for a candidate who is an experienced deputy/team leader who is ready to progress into their first RM post
* (33.75k) for a candidate with supervisory/deputy experience who is working towards/already completed their L5 diploma
* (35k) for an established manager who already holds leadership responsibility and understands Ofsted supported accommodation regulations.
Responsibilities
* Supervise, motivate and develop staff teams through strength-based approaches
* Manage staffing resources and ensure the service is effectively staffed
* Offering support to the young people in order to develop their independence
* Follow Ofsted compliance regulations and safeguarding frameworks
* Leading of the day to day operations
* Build/develop positive relations with the LA, commissioners and partner agencies
Skills/Qualifications
* MUST HAVE - level 3 Diploma in health and social care / equivalent
* MUST HAVE - experience working within supported accommodation or youth services
* Willingness to obtain / already obtained L5 diploma
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of young people
* Proficiency with IT systems and care management databases
* strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate a team
