Ryobi Aluminium Casting (UK) Ltd, a proud member of the Ryobi Group, is seeking an HSE Manager to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and to foster a sustainable safety culture.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the delivery of the HSE policy requirements, goals, and objectives.
* Implement arrangements for identifying, managing, and mitigating occupational risks to reduce injury or ill health.
* Monitor workplace conditions and welfare arrangements to reduce potential harm.
* Identify, evaluate, and comply with key stakeholder requirements and regulatory obligations, including HS&E, permits, consents, and corporate goals.
* Manage and direct the activities of the HSE team.
* Provide competent professional advice on health, safety, wellbeing, and environmental issues related to business activities.
* Liaise closely with Ryobi Limited Japan on HSE performance and improvement plans.
* Produce reports on HSE performance for Senior Management, Management, Ryobi Limited, and external bodies as necessary.
* Champion the BeWell Strategy to cultivate a sustainable safety culture that places safety at the core of the business.
Essential Criteria
* NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum three years’ experience in an HSE management role.
* Knowledge and experience of HSE standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Strong customer focus and teamwork abilities with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Analytical, problem‑solving, and reporting skills.
* Effective organization and planning capabilities, proactive, results‑focused, and able to work on own initiative.
* Strong leadership qualities.
* Computer literate.
