Nursery Assistant Location: LS28 Pay: From £89 per day Axcis Education is looking for experienced nursery assistants to join our team, supporting a range of nurseries across Leeds and surrounding areas on a flexible, day-to-day basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with children aged 0–5 and has some experience supporting children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). What We're Looking For: •Experience working with children aged 0–5 (essential) •Some experience supporting children with SEND (essential) •A child-enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service – or willingness to apply for one through Axcis •A genuine passion for early years education and child development •Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work Your Responsibilities Will Include: •Assisting with the care and supervision of babies, toddlers, and preschoolers •Supporting children’s learning and development through play and planned activities •Creating a safe and nurturing environment •Working collaboratively with permanent staff and other agency colleagues •Following safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene policies at all times If you're an experienced early years professional with a passion for supporting young children — and you're looking for flexible work — we’d love to hear from you!
