CMA Recruitment Group have been appointed to recruit for an excellent opportunity to join a local Bournemouth, Dorset education sector-based organisation. They require a Finance Assistant to join their small but fast paced finance function on a contract basis for 6 months. You will be supporting through a busy period. Reporting into the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be working in a varied transactional finance role, and you will be speaking to all areas of this organisation on a daily basis, you will be a go to person for any internal or external finance queries. Based in a central Bournemouth location and in bright and modern offices and paying a salary range of £25,000 to £27,000 plus benefits. What will the Finance Assistant role involve? Processing purchase ledger including support with prepayments and accruals; Responsibilities in sales ledger and credit control on a daily basis; Complex reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and resolving queries; Month end and year end preparation assistance and working closely with senior management. Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy: It’s essential that applicants have a detailed understanding of transactional finance including sales ledger, credit control and reconciliations; An AAT studier is advantageous although not essential, study support is offered; You will be confident dealing with people at all levels, this includes senior management and students; A requirement is a confident skillset level using accountancy systems and Excel.
