Pay Range: £120 – £250 per day (depending on experience)

A secondary school in Fareham is seeking a Science Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This full-time, long-term position involves teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 and offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students through engaging, practical, and thought‑provoking lessons.

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Assess, record, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters academic growth.
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department to share best practice and develop resources.
Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular and enrichment activities.

Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – desirable.
Degree in Science or a related subject.
Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4.
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science.
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
Current valid DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to obtain one.
Enthusiastic, innovative, and committed to delivering engaging learning experiences.
