The FTE starting salary for this post is £31,654 per annum. Progression is on an annual increment scale to FTE £33,471 per annum.
The College is seeking to appoint a qualified and motivated Exam Access Arrangements Assessor to join our dedicated Learning Support Team. The post holder will play a key role in ensuring that learners with additional needs are given the support and access arrangements they are entitled to during exams and assessments, in line with the JCQ regulations.
The post holder will conduct assessments to determine appropriate access arrangements for learners with additional needs and then prepare and submit these through the Access Arrangements Online (AAO) system. They will also need to maintain accurate records of assessments, evidence and communication and effectively liaise with staff and students to ensure these arrangements are the student’s normal way of working.
Applicants must already hold a teaching qualification or be a registered HCPC psychologist and hold a recognised Level 7 qualification in assessing learning needs.
The post holder will ideally be experienced in assessing access arrangements, but appropriate support is available for newly qualified assessors.
The post is available from 26 August 2025 on a permanent, part-time basis. The hours of work are from 8.45am to 4.15pm on either three, four, or five days per week (with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break each day), term-time only (39 weeks per year).

Three days (47.60%) - £15,067.30 to £15,932.20
Four days (63.47%) - £20,090.79 to £21,244.04
Five days (79.34%) - £25,114.28 to £26,555.89
